How Temp Mail Free works

Temp Mail Free runs a receive-only mail server. Public MX records for each enabled domain point at that server. When a message arrives for an active mailbox, it is parsed and stored until the mailbox expires.

The website is rendered on the server as HTML. Creating an address uses a form post; you do not need JavaScript to get a mailbox or read the inbox.

Administrators can add several mail domains and rotate them (round-robin, random, or weighted) so new random addresses spread across domains that still accept mail.
