Introduction
Welcome to Temp Mail Free.
TempMailFree provides a free temporary email service that allows users to create disposable email addresses and receive emails without registering for an account or providing a personal email address.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and improve the service.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use TempMailFree, how that information may be used, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you.
By using TempMailFree, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Process
You can use the core TempMailFree service without creating an account.
We do not require you to provide your name, personal email address, phone number, password, or other registration information simply to generate and use a temporary email address.
However, certain information may be processed automatically when you use the Website.
1.1 Temporary Email Addresses
When you use TempMailFree, the service may generate a random temporary email address or allow you to customize an available email address.
The temporary email address is processed for the purpose of providing the service.

These messages may include:

- Other technical information associated with the message
Temporary email messages are intended for short-term use and may be automatically deleted when the temporary mailbox expires or in accordance with our operational retention rules.

3. Temporary Mailboxes Are Not Private Storage
Temporary email addresses are designed for short-term convenience and privacy protection when interacting with third-party websites.
They are not intended to function as secure or permanent email accounts.
Depending on how a temporary address is generated and accessed, another person who knows or discovers the temporary email address may potentially be able to access messages delivered to that mailbox.
You should therefore never use a TempMailFree address for:
- Banking or financial accounts
- Cryptocurrency accounts
- Government services
- Medical information
- Legal documents
- Password recovery for important accounts
- Confidential business communications
- Sensitive personal information
- Long-term account ownership
You are responsible for determining whether a temporary email address is appropriate for a particular use.
4. Data Retention
TempMailFree is designed around temporary email functionality.
Temporary addresses and their associated messages may expire automatically after the applicable mailbox period, including temporary mailboxes designed for approximately 10 minutes of use.
Messages may be deleted automatically and may not be recoverable once deleted or expired.
Certain limited technical, security, anti-abuse, or server log information may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary to:
- Protect the service
- Investigate abuse
- Prevent attacks
- Maintain system reliability
- Meet legal obligations
We aim to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share limited information with third parties only when reasonably necessary for operating or protecting TempMailFree.
These parties may include:
Service Providers
Infrastructure, hosting, security, content-delivery, monitoring, analytics, or other technical service providers that assist us in operating the Website.
Legal and Safety Requirements
Information may be disclosed where we reasonably believe disclosure is required to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Respond to a valid legal process
- Protect the rights or safety of TempMailFree, our users, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, attacks, or illegal activity
Business Changes
If TempMailFree is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of assets, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
6. Third-Party Websites
TempMailFree is commonly used to receive emails generated by third-party websites and online services.
We do not control those third parties.
Their collection and use of your information are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
The inclusion of links or interaction with third-party services does not mean TempMailFree endorses or controls those services.
7. Analytics and Advertising
TempMailFree may use privacy-conscious analytics or third-party analytics technologies to understand general Website usage and improve performance.
The Website may also display advertising or use third-party advertising services where applicable.
These providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be subject to user consent or other legally available choices.
Please review our Cookie Policy for additional information.
8. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the GDPR or similar privacy regulations apply, our legal bases for processing information may include:
- Providing the service requested by you
- Our legitimate interests in maintaining and securing the service
- Preventing fraud and abuse

Because TempMailFree does not require user accounts and temporary information may be automatically deleted, we may not always be able to identify or retrieve information associated with a particular individual.
We may request sufficient information to verify a privacy request where required by law.
10. International Processing
TempMailFree may rely on servers, infrastructure providers, or service providers located in different countries.
As a result, information may be processed outside the country in which you are located.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect our Website and systems against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disruption, or destruction.
However, no Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Temporary email is specifically designed for disposable and short-term communication. It should not be treated as a secure replacement for a private, permanent email account.
12. Children's Privacy
TempMailFree is not specifically designed for children.
Users who are not legally able to agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service should use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
15. Chrome Extension and Limited Use
The Temp Mail Free Chrome extension processes a randomly generated temporary email address, a short-lived mailbox access token, mailbox expiration information, and incoming message summaries solely to provide disposable email and inbox functionality.
This information may be stored locally in Chrome extension storage and transmitted securely to TempMailFree.org over HTTPS. The extension does not read browsing history, inspect unrelated websites, collect form data, track user activity, or access a user's permanent email account.
Data obtained through Chrome APIs is used and transferred only as necessary to provide the extension's single user-facing purpose.
The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell extension user data, use it for personalized advertising, or transfer it for creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality.
16. Firefox Extension and Data Transmission
The Temp Mail Free Firefox extension transmits a randomly generated temporary email address, a short-lived mailbox access token, mailbox expiration information, and incoming message summaries to TempMailFree.org over HTTPS solely to provide disposable email and inbox functionality.
Firefox classifies these required data types as authentication information, personally identifying information, and personal communications. Firefox displays the required data-transmission disclosure during installation. The extension cannot provide its core temporary-mail service without this transmission.
The Firefox extension does not read browsing history, inspect unrelated websites, collect form data, track user activity, access a user's permanent email account, or use data for advertising.
We do not sell extension user data or transfer it for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality.
18. Android App Data Handling
The Temp Mail Free Android app creates and accesses disposable mailboxes through TempMailFree.org over HTTPS. To provide the app's core functionality, the service processes a randomly generated or user-selected temporary email address, a short-lived mailbox access token, mailbox expiration information, incoming email metadata and content, and attachments when the user chooses to download them.
The active mailbox token is stored on the device using Android encrypted storage. Tokens associated with locally saved mailbox history are encrypted with a key held by the Android Keystore. Message summaries and opened message content may be cached in the app's private local database so the inbox can remain available between sessions. Attachments are saved to the device's Downloads collection only after the user explicitly requests a download.
The app also stores local preferences such as interface language, appearance, default mail domain, and automatic inbox refresh. These preferences are used only to operate the app. The current Google Play release does not enable push notifications, does not request notification permission, and does not register a Firebase Cloud Messaging token.
Users can delete the active mailbox and its messages from the server from within the app. Users can separately clear saved mailbox history and cached messages from the device. Temporary mailboxes and server-side messages expire automatically under the service's retention rules. Uninstalling the app removes its private local app data, subject to Android platform behavior.
The Android app does not access contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, camera, permanent email accounts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. It does not include an advertising or analytics SDK, and app data is not sold or used for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, or purposes unrelated to disposable email functionality.
19. Telegram Bot and Data Transmission
When a user interacts with the Temp Mail Free Telegram bot, we store the Telegram chat identifier, username and display name when available, language code, first-seen time, last-activity time, and delivery status. We also process a randomly generated temporary email address, a short-lived mailbox access token, mailbox expiration information, and the email messages received by that temporary mailbox to provide the requested bot functionality.
The bot sends mailbox information and received email content through the Telegram Bot API so it can appear in the user's private Telegram chat. Telegram processes this data under Telegram's own privacy policy. Users should not use temporary email for banking, healthcare, cryptocurrency, password recovery, or other sensitive accounts.
Users who start the bot may receive limited service announcements sent by the Temp Mail Free administrator. We apply delivery-rate and frequency limits. Telegram users who block the bot are excluded from future deliveries, and their optional profile fields are removed when Telegram reports the block.
The bot works only in private chats. We do not use Telegram bot data for third-party advertising, tracking, profiling, creditworthiness, or purposes unrelated to the Temp Mail Free service, and we do not sell this data.
Temporary mailboxes and their messages expire automatically. A user can also delete the active mailbox and its messages at any time with the /delete command.
